CFISD recruits mentors
The Cypress Fairbanks Independent School District Partners in Education office is looking for adults to serve as mentors for students in grades K-12.
Mentors serve as a guide and friend while helping a student with educational and personal development. Mentors are asked to commit to approximately one hour per week during the school year. Mentors and students will meet only on campus and during school hours.
Training will be at the Berry Center, 8877 Barker-Cypress Road. The sessions are 9:30-11:30 a.m. Sept. 14, Oct. 11, Nov. 8, Jan. 26 and March 22; and 6-8 p.m. Sept. 27 and Feb. 7. Email vipsrsvp@cfisd.net or call 281-894-3950.
