Cy-Fair bag manufacturer blamed for Houston mans injuries
A Houston man is suing a Cy-Fair bag manufacturer after, he says, he suffered serious injuries as a result of the company’s failure to maintain a safe work environment.
Elmer Penate filed a lawsuit on Aug. 17 in Harris County District Court against Superbag Operating, alleging negligence.
Penate says that on Aug. 23, 2009, he was seriously injured by machinery at Superbag, located at 9291 Baythorne Drive in Cy-Fair. According to the brief, Superbag’s failure to keep its jobsite safe resulted in Penate’s physical suffering and mental anguish.
