Cy-Fair Hampton Inn sued over head injury
A Maine resident is suing over claims she suffered a grievous head injury while showering at Hampton Inn in Cy-Fair.
Brianne Lovewell filed a lawsuit on Aug. 19 in Harris County District Court against Esmeralda Hospitality and Hampton Inn, citing negligence.
Lovewell says that on April 13, 2010, she suffered a head injury, resulting in a cognitive disability, when she slipped and fell in a shower/bathtub at Hampton Inn, located at 20035 Northwest Freeway in Cy-Fair. According to the brief, the shower/bathtub in her room violated Hampton Inn’s own building standards by failing to have a no-slip bottom.
Lovewell is seeking damages and court costs. She is being represented in the case by D. John Neese Jr.
