Cypress residents sue Jack in the Box over alleged falling sign injuries
Jack in the Box is being sued over claims a falling sign at its Cy-Fair location injured a Cypress woman.
Cypress residents Ana and James Booth filed a lawsuit on Aug. 19 in Harris County District Court against Jack in the Box and its General Manager Celeste Warren, citing negligence.
The Booths say that on April 10, Ana Booth sustained serious injuries when a falling sign hit her at Jack in the Box, located at 15819 JFK Blvd. in Cy-Fair. According to the brief, the defendants' failure to keep the premises safe caused Booth’s accident.
The Booths are seeking damages and court costs. They are being represented in the case by Richmond attorney R. Gary Stephens.
