HS Football Preview: Cy Ranch vs. Austin

Cy Ranch visits Austin in high school football action tonight.

The Mustangs were 4-6 overall last season and 3-6 in district play.   Head Coach Gene Johnson leads Cy Ranch into their second varsity season, and will lean on quarterback Justin Monsour for offensive production.   After the Austin contest, Cy Ranch will host Jersey Village next Friday at 7 p.m. in the Berry Center.   The Bulldogs had a tough season last year; going 1-9 overall and 1-3 in district play.   Head Coach Dan Schreiber does have two offensive stars to turn to in quarterback Taylor Woods and running back DeAndre Williams.   Following the Cy Ranch game, Austin will host Manvel next Friday at 7 p.m. in Mercer Stadium.   Austin and Cy Ranch are set to kick off tonight at 7 p.m. in Mercer Stadium.
