HS Football Preview: Stratford vs. Langham Creek
Stratford visits Langham Creek in high school football action Thursday.
Stratford, 0-1, lost to Memorial 14-0 last Thursday in Tully Stadium. Stratford passed for 46 yards in the loss and allowed 28 yards through the air. They rushed for 69 yards and gave up 298 yards on the ground. Following the Langham Creek clash, Head Coach Eliot Allen and the Spartans will visit Friendswood next Friday at 7 p.m. Langham Creek and Head Coach Todd Thompson will be playing their first game of the season this Thursday. Last year, the Lobos were 5-5 overall and 5-4 in District 17-5A action. It is no secret that Langham Creek will look to move the ball through the air with quarterback Connor Feist testing opposing defenses on a weekly basis. After the Stratford game, the Lobos will visit Cy Ridge next Thursday at 7 p.m. The Spartans and Lobos are set to kick off at 7 p.m. Thursday in the Berry Center.Related Stories
