HS Football Preview: Cy Falls visits Morton Ranch
Cy Falls visits Morton Ranch in high school football action Thursday.
The Golden Eagles will be playing their first game of the season.
First year Head Coach Kirk Eaton takes over a Cy Falls squad that went 7-3 overall last season and 6-3 in District 17-5A action.
Thirteen starters and 25 letterman return for the Golden Eagles this year.
Following the Morton Ranch clash, Cy Falls will host Cy Woods next Saturday at 6 p.m. in the Berry Center.
Morton Ranch, 1-0, defeated Tomball, 32-17, last Friday.
Running back E.J. Achelus carried the ball four times for 126 yards and touchdown runs of 53 yards and 49 yards in the victory.
After playing the Golden Eagles, the Mavericks will host Spring next Friday at 7 p.m. in Rhodes Stadium.
Cy Falls and Morton Ranch are set to kick off at 7 p.m. in Rhodes Stadium.
