Lone Star’s Cy-Fair campus to hold auditions for 'A Seagull in Delta'

Lone Star’s Cy-Fair campus will be holding open auditions from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 6 in the Main Stage Theatre for the fall show “A Seagull in Delta.”

“A Seagull in Delta,” written by adjunct faculty member Claire Hart-Palumbos, is a modern retelling of Anton Chekhov’s “The Seagull.” Like the classic play that inspired it, “A Seagul in Delta” depicts people searching for love and acceptance from the wrong people in a world riddled with class issues.

Hart-Palumbo will be casting up to six men and eight women actors of all ethnicities. She will cast two people per role for some of the parts. Readings will be held from the script. Those who wish to auditon need not make appointments.

Performances will begin on Thursday, Oct. 13 and run through Sunday, Oct. 23.
