HS Football: Cy Falls blows out Morton Ranch
Cy Falls defeated Morton Ranch in high school football action Thursday.
The Golden Eagles won the game 48-12 at Rhodes Stadium to move to 1-0 on the season. Running back Brice Peters carried the ball 13 times for 119 yards and scored three touchdowns in the win. Quarterback Troy Mitchell was 12-19 for 159 yards and two scores for Cy Falls. The Golden Eagles will host Cy Woods Saturday at 6 p.m. in Rhodes Stadium. Thursday’s loss dropped Morton Ranch to 1-1 on the year. Running back E.J. Achelius carried the ball 23 times for 150 yards and two touchdowns in the loss for the Mavericks. Morton Ranch will host Spring Friday at 7 p.m. in Rhodes Stadium.Related Stories
