HS Football: Cy Ridge falls to Cinco Ranch
Cinco Ranch defeated Cy Ridge in high school football action Friday.
The Cougars, 1-1, won the game 20-6 at Rhodes Stadium. Cole Thomas passed for 60 yards and caught six balls for 45 yards in the win. Wide receiver Adam Johnson hauled in eight receptions for 75 yards and a score in the Cougar victory. Cinco Ranch will visit Clear Springs Saturday at 1 p.m. in CCISD Veterans Stadium. Friday’s loss dropped Cy Ridge to 0-1 on the year. The Rams did not score a touchdown in the loss, but notched two field goals from Marlon Cardenas. The Rams will host Langham Creek Thursday at 7 p.m. in the Berry Center.
