Downed power lines reportedly causing fire risk in Cypress
Downed power lines in a Cypress neighborhood have started small grass fires recently, Houston ABC affiliate KTRK reports.
The Cy-Fair Volunteer Fire Department tells KTRK that high winds are knocking over the power lines, and may also help to spread any grass fires caused by the sparks. Our partners at the Houston Chronicle's Newswatch blog are following the story.
