Cy-Fair restaurant opening postponed until this weekend
The grand opening of the first Houston location of New Orleans Famous Chicken and Waffles has been pushed back to Saturday, Sept. 10.
The delay is due to the impending tropical storm.
Reviewers will be allowed to taste menu items from noon to 5 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 9.
The grand opening on Sept. 10 will feature a kids' fair from 7 a.m. to noon. At 4 p.m., two New Orleans line brass bands will perform.
