HS Volleyball: Jersey Village defeats Cy Ridge

Jersey Village defeated Cy Ridge in District 17-5A girls high school volleyball action on Tuesday. 

The win ups the Falcons to 13-11 on the season and 5-2 in district play. Jersey Village won the match in five games, 20-25, 21-25, 26-24, 27-25, 15-9, led by Caitlyn Cooney who recorded 31 kills.   Jersey Village will next host Cy Creek on Friday at 5:30 p.m.   The loss drops the Rams to 13-15 on the season and 1-5 in district play. Cy Ridge will next visit Cy Springs on Friday at 6 p.m.   Kaylen Deloney had 25 kills in the loss.
