Cypress yoga studio to host workshop on Sound Healing

The Houston Yoga & Ayurvedic Wellness Center will be hosting A Sound Healing workshop and training session from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 9.

The workshop will be led by Jay Schwed, who has 17 years of experience in using sound for healing and is also a motivational speaker. The workshop begins with a brief presentation and then attendees will learn about how singing crystal bowls and alchemy bowls can be used as healing tools.

Early registration for this workshop costs $150 per person. Participants will need to purchase singing bowls through Schwed in advance, unless they already have their own. He will offer discounts to those who purchase singing bowls for this workshop through him in advance. Participants should dress comfortably, and will also need to bring pillows and blankets to sit on and a yoga mat on which to place the singing bowls.
