HS Football Preview: Cy Lakes vs. Jersey Village

Cy Lakes visits Jersey Village in District 17-5A high school football action on Saturday. 

The Spartans are 0-3 on the season and 0-2 in district play, coming off a 35-30 loss to Cy Ranch in their last game.   Quarterback Jonathon Bowen has thrown for 570 yards and six touchdowns on the season.   After Saturday's contest, Cy Lakes will next visit Langham Creek on Friday at 7 p.m.   The Falcons are 1-2 on the season and 0-2 in district play, coming off a 65-58 loss to Langham Creek in their last game.   Victor Brown has rushed for 495 yards and six touchdowns this season.   Following Saturday's game, Jersey Village will host Cy Woods on Saturday, Oct. 1 at 6 p.m.   Saturday's kickoff is scheduled for 6 p.m.
