Cy-Fair Walmart named in slip-and-fall suit
A Harris County woman is suing over claims she sustained serious injuries while shopping at Walmart in Cy-Fair.
Orfelia Chavana filed a lawsuit on Sept. 20 in the Harris County District Court against Walmart Stores Texas, citing negligence.
Chavana says that on July 12, she sustained serious injuries while shopping at the Walmart located at 12353 FM 1960 West in Cy-Fair. According to the brief, Chavana slipped and fell on a melted ice drink carelessly left on the floor.
Chavana is seeking damages and court costs. She is being represented in the case by Houston attorney Dax Garza.
