Cy-Fair market blamed for workplace injuries
A Cy-Fair meat market is being sued over claims it failed to provide an employee a safe work environment.
Juan Gonzales filed a lawsuit on Sept. 22 in Harris County District Court against La Guerrero Meat Market, with a location in Cy-Fair, citing negligence.
Gonzales says that he was injured on the job twice in 2010 while employed at La Guerrero Meat Market. According to the brief, La Guerrero allowed the floors in Gonzales’ work area to become dangerously slippery, causing two workplace injuries.
Gonzales is seeking damages and court costs. He is being represented in the case by Houston attorney Michael Jolly.
