Cy Creek alumnus Janish has big day for Reds
Paul Janish went 2-3 with an RBI but was on the losing side as the Cincinnati Reds lost to the Pittsburgh Pirates 4-3 on Saturday in Major League Baseball action.
A 2001 graduate of Cypress Creek High School, Janish played college baseball at Rice University from 2002 to 2004. Janish was drafted in the fifth round, 138th overall, in the 2004 Major League Baseball by Cincinnati. Janish spent parts of five seasons in the Reds organization before making his Major League debut on May 14, 2008.Related Stories
