See which books are banned in Cy-Fair ISD

In honor of Banned Books Week, our partners at the Houston Chronicle's Bookish blog have compiled a list of books that are banned in various Texas school districts.

The list includes book-bannings in two Houston-area districts, Cy-Fair ISD and Goose Creek ISD.

This year's Banned Books Week runs from Sept. 24 to Oct. 1. During the week, the American Library Association and other organization draw attention to the issue of book censorship throughout history.
