Lone Star College to host Cy-Fest
Lone Star College-CyFair’s (LSC-CyFair) Cy-Fest 7 community event will be held on Saturday, Oct. 8.
Among the featured activities are moonwalks, face painting, slides, obstacle courses, a pumpkin patch, train rides, a pony carousel, a petting zoo, Radio Disney and more.
“The energy and enthusiasm of our employees, students and community members involved in this event is a reflection of our community as a whole to the commitment we all have to making Cy-Fair a wonderful place to live, work and raise our families,” said LSC-CyFair’s College Relations Executive Director Michelle Tran. “Our sincere thanks go to many local businesses and community partners who donate resources and volunteer time to this free event that has been drawing thousands of smiles since 2005.”
Additionally, community members can receive information on area nonprofit organizations, such as Mercy House Organization and Cy-Fair Republican Women; learn about the college offerings; and enjoy the Cy-Fair Volunteer Fire Department's annual Fire Fest, located at Station 11 located on West Road adjacent to LSC-CyFair.
The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and the Barker Cypress campus is located at 9191 Barker Cypress Road in Cypress.
