Customer sues Cy-Fair business over oil pit fall
A customer is suing a Cy-Fair auto services business after, he says, he sustained serious injuries when company employees failed to properly cover an oil change pit.
Carlos Penuela filed a lawsuit on Oct. 7 in the Harris County District Court against Kool Wash, of Cy-Fair, and Express Automotive Group, citing negligence.
Penuela says that on Aug. 1, he sustained serious injuries at Kool Wash, located at 12702 Jones Road in Cy-Fair.
According to the brief, he fell into an oil change pit while walking toward an employee to ask about Kool Wash’s services.
Penuela is seeking damages and court costs. He is being represented in the case by Houston attorney Adam Criaco.
