HS Volleyball: Cy Woods defeats Jersey Village
Cy Woods defeated Jersey Village in District 17-5A girls high school volleyball action on Wednesday.
The win ups the Wildcats to 34-4 on the season and 14-0 in district play. Cy Woods won the match in three games, 25-16, 25-13, 25-12, led by Sarah Nielsen who recorded 10 kills.
Cy Woods will next visit Cy Springs on Friday at 6 p.m.
The loss drops the Falcons to 17-16 on the season and 7-7 in district play. Jersey Village will next host Cy Ridge on Friday at 6:30 p.m.
Courtney Jennings had seven kills in the loss.
