Cypress resident accused of contract breach
A landlord is suing a former tenant over claims he stopped paying rent and abandoned the premises.
Milad Attalla filed a lawsuit on Oct. 11 in Harris County District Court against New Beginnings for Kids and Cypress resident Dwight Ben, citing breach of contract.
Attalla says that on July 7, 2009, he agreed to lease Ben the property at 5651 Sheraton Oaks Drive in Houston.
According to the brief, Ben breached this agreement when he stopped paying rent and abandoned the premises.
Attalla is seeking damages, attorney’s fees and court costs. He is being represented in the case by Bellaire attorney Jay Ginsburg.
