Weight Watchers members donate food to Cy-Fair Volunteer Fire Department
Houston Weight Watchers groups participated in the fourth annual Lose For Good campaign.
The groups collected food to donate to a variety of local food banks, including the Cy-Fair Volunteer Fire Department, as they lost weight.
In seven weeks, the members lost more than 5,800 pounds and collected more than 2,000 pounds of food.
On Saturday, Oct. 22, a ladder truck and First Responder truck from the Cy-Fair Volunteer Fire Department picked up the food from the Weight Watchers Center in Eldridge Town Center. The food will be used to help feed the community during the holidays.
