Cy-Fair Marshalls named in trip-and-fall suit
An 85-year-old woman is suing after, she says, she tore her meniscus and hurt her knees while shopping at Marshalls in Cy-Fair.
Bernice Jablon filed a lawsuit on Oct. 24 in Harris County District Court against Marshalls and The TJX Companies, Inc., citing negligence.
Jablon says on Oct. 28, 2009, she sustained injuries while shopping at Marshalls, located at 7700 F.M. 1960 West in Cy-Fair. According to the brief, a store employee placed an empty clothing rack behind Jablon just as she was turning around in an aisle, causing her to fall.
Jablon is seeking damages and court costs. She is being represented in the case by Houston attorney Scott Davenport.
