Cy-Fair salon blamed for staph infection
A Houston man is suing after, he says, he contracted a staph infection from a nail salon in Cy-Fair.
Kevin Warnke filed a lawsuit on Oct. 26 in Harris County District Court against Fashion Spa Nail of Cy-Fair, citing negligence and gross negligence.
Warnke says on March 3, 2010, he sustained a cut on his large toe while getting a pedicure at Fashion Spa Nail. According to the brief, he developed a staph infection from the cut because the defendant’s employees failed to properly clean and maintain the premises and the utensils.
Warnke is seeking damages and court costs. He is being represented in the case by Houston attorney Brent Cordell.
