Alleged electrocution in Cy-Fair sparks lawsuit
A Harris County man is suing over claims he sustained injuries while working at an apartment complex in in Cy-Fair.
Todd Butcher filed a lawsuit on Oct. 27 in Harris County District Court against Willow Place, LLC and Canrig Drilling Technology, citing negligence.
Butcher says on June 6, he sustained injuries while performing cable work for Canrig Drilling at Cy-Fair’s Willow Chase Park, located at 8223 Willow Place South.
According to the brief, faulty wiring he encountered while working electrocuted him, causing permanent damage to his arm.
Butcher is seeking damages and court costs. He is being represented in the case by Houston attorney Norman Jolly.
