Cy Springs alumnus leads Baylor to victory
Briana Tolbert played five sets in Baylor's 3-2 win over Kansas State on Saturday.
The junior registered 12 kills and one assist in 23 attack attempts. She also had two blocks.
The 2008 graduate of Cy Springs High School is a two-time Big 12 Commissioner's Honor Roll recipient.
In high school, Tolbert was selected to the Texas Girls Coaches Association All-Star Team and was named an academic all-district selection.
In her sophomore year of college, she ranked third on the team in blocks with 70 and ranked fifth on the team with 177 kills.
