Girls HS volleyball playoffs: Cy Ranch defeats Alief Elsik
Cy Ranch swept Alief Elsik in the opening round of 5A Bi-district girls high school volleyball playoff action on Tuesday.
The win brings Cy Ranch to 26-13 on the season and 13-5 in district play. Cy Ranch won the match in three games.
Chelsea Spurlock is having a big season for the team, averaging 4.37 kills per game.
Alief Elsik finishes its season at 17-9 and 12-1 in district play.
Akuna Elonu led her team with an average of 4.42 kills per game.
