Girls HS volleyball playoffs: Cy Woods sweeps Nimitz
In the opening round of the playoffs, Cy Woods toppled Nimitz in 5A Bi-district girls high school volleyball action on Tuesday.
The win ups the Wildcats to 39-4 on the season and 18-0 in district play. Cy Woods swept the match in three games, 25-6, 25-8, 25-11, led by Sarah Nielsen who recorded 11 kills.
The Cougars finish their season at 9-18 and 6-5 in district play.
No player for Nimitz had more than one kill in the game.
