Cy Creek grad puts up big effort in Boise State victory
D.J. Harper rushed for 109 yards as Boise State defeated UNLV 48-21 in college football action on Saturday.
A 2007 graduate for Cy Creek High School, Harper also had four kick returns for 14 yards and scored a touchdown on the ground.
In high school, Harper earned three letters in football and two in track and field. As a senior, he rushed for 1,570 yards and 21 touchdowns on 212 carries with 18 receptions for 160 yards.
