Cy Springs alumnus tries hard in Baylor loss to Missouri
Briana Tolbert played a strong four sets, but couldn't help Baylor University to a win, losing 3-1 to Missouri in women's college volleyball action on Saturday.
The junior registered 14 kills, three blocks and 23 attack attempts.
The 2008 graduate of Cy Springs High School is a two-time Big 12 Commissioner's Honor Roll recipient.
In high school, Tolbert was selected to the Texas Girls Coaches Association All-Star Team and was named an academic all-district selection.
In her sophomore year of college, she ranked third on the team in blocks with 70 and ranked fifth on the team with 177 kills.
