Where are the lowest gas prices in Cy-Fair?
Gas prices in and around Cypress have decreased by a few cents, data from Gasbuddy.com shows.
Users of the price-tracking website have reported the rates for 30 gas stations in and around Cypress as of Nov. 4. Based on this data, the average gas price for the area was around $3.193 per gallon. Gasbuddy.com also listed the averages for Texas ($3.224), Houston ($3.193) and the country as a whole ($3.439.
A week ago, the average gas price in Cypress was $3.234 per gallon.
The least expensive gas rate in Cypress was sold for $3.12 per gallon of regular unleaded gas. Five local gas stations were identified as charging this rate, one of them being Murphy USA at 26272 NW Freeway and Cypress Rosehill Road.
The most expensive gas rate in the area was charged by Shell at 15038 Mason Road and Fairfield Village Drive. According to data, this station was selling a gallon of regular unleaded gas at $3.39. This Shell station has been offering the highest gas rate in the area for six consecutive weeks.
