HS Playoff Volleyball: Cy Falls defeats Katy
In the 5A Regional quarterfinals, Cy Falls defeated Katy in girls high school volleyball playoff action on Tuesday.
The Golden Eagles have now won three straight playoff matches, defeating MacArthur and Bellaire previously. They swept Katy in three games, winning by the score of 25-15, 28-26 and 25-14.
Alexis Austin led her squad with 11 kills in the victory.
Katy had defeated Lamar and Cy Ranch to get this far, but their playoff run is over.
Keeley Kainer led the Tigers with 11 kills in the loss.
