HS Playoff Volleyball: Cy Woods defeats Memorial
In the 5A Regional Quarterfinals, Cy Woods defeated Memorial in girls high school volleyball playoff action on Tuesday.
Cy Woods has now won three-straight playoff matches, defeating Nimitz and Seven Lakes previously. They swept Memorial in three games, winning by the score of 25-18, 28-19 and 25-21.
Sarah Nielsen led Cy Woods with 11 kills in the victory.
The Mustangs had defeated Westbury and Cy-Fair to get this far, but their playoff run is over.
Makenzie Borman led her squad with 11 kills in the loss.
