Lone Star College-CyFair welcomes new dean

Michel Rodriguez-Zuch joined the Lone Star College-CyFair staff as dean of academic affairs in August following seven years at Blinn College.

"The campus environment has an excitement and everyone is energized," Rodriguez-Zuch said in a press release. "It's a combination of its newness and the people hired who have drive, expectations, work ethics and teamwork that creates a wonderful campus culture."

Rodriguez-Zuch's career in education began after five years in retail management in Dallas and one year in College Station.  She has worked as a high school teacher, the Texas A&M University system and as Blinn's director of enrollment management, director of student development and dean of student services, according to the release.

She also teaches in the online MBA program at Tarleton State University. She is married and has an 8-year-old daughter. The family lives in Brenham.
