HS Volleyball Playoffs: Boyd defeats Cy Falls
In volleyball playoff action, Boyd defeated Cy Falls 35-34 in the Class 5A state semifinals on Friday.
The Broncos are 9-1 on the season and will meet Coppell in the Class 5A state final on Saturday at 7 p.m.
Boyd won the match in four games, 25-19, 25-19, 20-25, 25-22, led by Megan Mollett who recorded 27 kills.
The Golden Eagles were 39-8 overall and 15-4 in district play.
Alexis Austin had 19 kills in the loss.
