Katy defeated Cy Woods in the 5A area playoffs Friday.
Katy, 12-0, 7-0, won the game 44-30.
Brooks Haack passed for 194 yards, three scores and one interception in the victory.
Cy Woods finished the season at 9-3 and 7-2.
Gabriel West passed for 205 yards, three scores and three picks in the loss.
