HS Football Playoffs: Lamar defeats Cy Falls
Lamar defeated Cy Falls 35-34 in a 5A high school football playoff game on Friday.
Bradley Ward caught a 9-yard pass from Darrell Colber with a little over three minutes left in the game to help Lamar come from behind for the win.
Under head coach Tom Nolen, Lamar finished the regular season at 10-2 overall and 7-0 in district play.
London Kirby rushed for 77 yards and two touchdowns in the victory.
Cy Falls finished the regular season at 10-2 overall and 8-1 in district play.
Quarterback Troy Mitchell threw for 288 yards and two touchdowns in the loss.
