Cy Ridge alum contributes in LSU win
Russell Shepard, a 2009 graduate of Cy Ridge High School, caught a 22-yard touchdown pass to help LSA to a 52-3 win over the University of Mississippi in men's college pigskin action on Saturday.
The junior wide receiver has 12 receptions for 177 yards and three touchdowns on the season.
Shepard finished his senior season ranked as the No. 1 high school player in the state of Texas by Rivals.com and SuperPrep. He Finished his high school career with more than 8,000 yards of total offense and 98 total touchdowns.
