Houston Family Arts Center to hold auditions
Houston Family Arts Center’s Actors Academy will perform Christmas and Broadway music on Tuesday, Dec. 20, and Wednesday, Dec. 21.
People of all ages interested in being a featured performer can audition between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 28, at HFAC.
Each performer will work one-on-one with HFAC's acting coach, Ilich Guardiola, as well as the resident vocal coach, Robin Cobb.
Rehearsals will be held from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 3, from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 10, and from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 17. Dress rehearsal will be held from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 19.
Performers do not need to be present for the entire rehearsal for each date, with the exception of the dress rehearsal. The coaching fee will be $95 per featured performer, payable after performer list is posted on Tuesday, Nov. 29.
The HFAC is located at 10760 Grant Road in Houston.
