Special Olympics Texas to host 'Tip A Cop' fundraiser
The “Tip A Cop” fundraiser for Special Olympics Texas will be held on Thursday, Dec. 15, at Texas Roadhouse.
During the fundraiser, highway troopers, police officers, sheriff’s deputies and other Law Enforcement Torch Run members will exchange their uniforms for aprons to serve up support for SOTX at participating locations.
From 6 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., LETR members will greet and serve patrons during dinner while collecting tips.
The participating Texas Roadhouse restaurants are 13345 FM 1960 Road West in Houston and 20840 Katy Freeway in Katy.
