Where are the lowest gas prices in Cy-Fair?
The average gas price for Cypress has declined by a few cents from last week's average, according to data from Gasbuddy.com.
Users of the price-tracking website reported the rates for 32 gas stations in and around Cypress as of Dec. 17. Based on this data, the average gas price for the area was around $3.055 per gallon. Gasbuddy.com also listed the average for Texas as $3.048, Houston as $3.060 and the country as a whole as $3.241.
About a week ago, the average gas price in Cypress was $3.103 per gallon.
The lowest gas price was $2.95 per gallon at Exxon at 20600 NW Freeway and Huffmeister Road and Exxon at 18001 FM-529 and Barker-Cypress.
The highest gas rate in Cypress was $3.29 per gallon of regular unleaded gas. Express Food Mart at 12630 Telge Road and Cricket Hollow Lane and Shell at 15038 Mason Road and Fairfield Village Drive were the stations charging this price. Shell has been selling the highest gas rate in the area for 12 consecutive weeks.
