A Native American powwow will be held at 7 p.m., Jan. 7, at VFW Post 8906 in Cypress.

The event is free and hosted by Venturing Crew 32, BSA, an Indian lore crew. They are sponsored by Belding Enterprises and have been in existence since 1988.
