Lone Star College-CyFair’s Center for the Arts offers the community photography, watercolors, theater and music throughout 2012.

The Center for the Arts will offer a variety of events in 2012, beginning with the works of Janet Hassinger, a watercolor artist, on Jan. 31. The Bosque Gallery will display her paintings until March 1.

Following the Hassinger exhibit is Fotofest, the biennial Houston photography show. This show will last from March 30 until April 1.

“Phantom of the Opera” will premiere on April 27. This Tony Award winning musical will run through May 6.

Musical performances include a jazz and guitar ensemble concert by jazzNCompany on March 28 and a World Music Series choral concert, titled A Dream of Red Mansions, on March 31.

These shows will take place at LSC-CyFair’s Center for the Arts, located on the Barker Cypress campus at 9191 Barker Cypress Road.
