Cy-Fair woman names Memorial LA Fitness in trip-and-fall suit
A Cy-Fair woman is suing L.A. Fitness after, she says, the company's failure to provide a safe environment at its Memorial location caused her injury.
Cy-Fair resident Supavadee Goldwater filed a lawsuit on Dec. 21 in Harris County District Court against L.A. Fitness International, citing negligence.
Goldwater says on April 29, 2010, medics transported her to the emergency room after she injured her face, right shoulder and left knee when she fell in the locker room of L.A. Fitness, located at 1555 Eldridge Parkway in Memorial.
According to the brief, she was checking out the facilities to determine whether or not to purchase a gym membership, when her right foot was caught in damaged rubber mat.
Goldwater is seeking damages and court costs. She is being represented in the case by Richmond attorney Joshua Estes.
