New Superintendent of Cypress-Fairbanks Independent School District joins hospital's governing board

Mark Henry has joined the Governing Board of Cypress Fairbanks Medical Center Hospital for 2012.

Henry, the new superintendent of Cypress-Fairbanks Independent School District, replaces retired former CFISD superintendent of schools David Anthony on the board.

Before becoming superintendent of schools at CFISD, Henry served in the same capacity at Milford ISD, Collinsville ISD, Sulphur Springs ISD and Galena Park ISD.

Henry received a Bachelor of Arts in Physical Education with a minor in History from the University of Texas at Arlington. He also holds a Master of Education in Administration with a minor in Economics, along with a Doctor of Education in Administration with an emphasis in Finance and a minor in Curriculum and Instruction.

Along with serving on the hospital board, Henry is active in the Rotary Club, served a leadership position for the North Channel Chamber of Commerce and is a member of the Texas Association of School Administrators.
