Cy-Fair swimming pool builder blamed for crushed skull
A Cy-Fair pool builder is being sued over claims its defective pool filter crushed a customer’s skull.
Diricia Dillman, individually and as guardian of Don C. Fonseca, filed a products liability case on Jan. 6 in Harris County District Court against Cy-Fair Blue Haven Pools and Spas.
Dillman says on May 1, Fonseca sustained permanent and disabling injuries while performing routine maintenance on his swimming pool. According to the brief, the pool filter canister he cleaned exploded and hit him in the head.
The suit alleges the impact crushed his skull.
Dillman is seeking damages and court costs. She is being represented in the case by Houston attorney Larry Boyd.
