Northwest Flyers Youth Track is hosting an informational breakfast
Olympic gold medalist Fred Newhouse will be the guest speaker during the Northwest Flyers Youth Track Club’s free information breakfast, beginning at 8:30 a.m. on Feb. 4 at the Cypress Creek Christian Community Center Forum, located at 6823 Cypresswood Drive in Spring.
The free breakfast offers young athletes the chance to register for the club’s 2012 spring/summer season, according to a press release. Participants can also meet with coaches, staff and fellow athletes.
Newhouse, who won a gold medal in the 4x400 relay and a silver medal in the 400-meter dash at the 1976 Olympics, founded the club 25 years ago.
