HS girls basketball: Cy Woods defeats Cy Springs
Cy Woods routed Cy Springs 70-22 in District 17-5A girls high school basketball action on Tuesday.
The win ups Cy Woods to 16-6 overall and 5-0 in district play.
Camille Williams scored a game-high 13 points in the victory. Erica Ogwumike added a dozen.
Cy Woods will next host Jersey Village on Friday at 7 p.m.
The loss drops Cy Springs to 5-12 overall and 3-3 in district play.
Brenisha Coleman put up a team-high six points in the loss.
